GT40 carburetion. Big 48 IDA Weber downdrafts on an independent-runner
intake. How about that fancy valve lash checking tool, eh?
GT40 Oiling System

This shot appears to be of a racing GT40 iron block engine instead of the Indy
255, but the oil pump setup is very similar. The handmade scavenge and
pressure pumps (no aftermarket then!) were driven by a chain inside the
crankcase. The enclosed drive was proof against debris and did not add to the
length of the engine; an important point when used in mid-engined cars.
