Benzene and Aromatics

Aromatic chemicals - chemicals usually derived initially from coal tar, with a
pleasant aroma.  Basic structure is the benzene ring - a hexagonal ring with 6
carbons and 12 oxygens with alternating single and double bonds between the
carbon atoms.

Toluene is a benzene with one hydrogen molecule substituted for a methyl
radical.

Xylene is a benzene with two hydrogen molecules substituted for methyl
radicals.

Nitro Benzene is benzene with one nitro ( NO2) substituted for a hydrogen.
Similar to the nitro-parafins such as nitromethane and nitropropane.

Tri Nitro Toluene TNT is benzene with three hydrogen molecules substituted for
N02 ( nitro ) radicals

In fact, there are literally hundreds of chemicals created by substitution of
one or more radicals with a hydrogen in the benzene ring.

For combustion, the basic benzene ring is a slow burning, difficult to ignite
and consume, and very high octane rating substance.  In fact, benzene, toluene
and xylene have a critical compression ratio of over 15 to 1, more than double
that of pure iso-octane 100 r+m.  Benzene can not be made to detonate in the
CRC engine on the research testing and the other two exceed comparison by
iso-octane and 3 grams of tetraethyl lead.

GM's Kettering and Midgley developed the Octane rating system in the 20's.
Sir Harry Ricardo developed competively the Toluene rating system for use with
much higher output aircraft engines in england.  The lessor octane system won
because what's good for GM is good for america syndrome.  Much to everlasting
confusion as to what the anti-detonation rating of a fuel would be.  But money
talks and gm spend one heck of a lot.

All benzene ring fuels have a higher octane than even methanal.  Ford Motor
Corporation in the mid 60's dominated Indianapolis.  Everyone but them ran
almost pure Methanal.  They replaced 20% of the Methanal and virtually halved
the BSFC of their vehicles and made half the pits stops of the offy's.  They
lost a maximum of 4% of the power by the subsitution and made up for it by
adding nitromethane as needed.

The offenhauser engines were defeated by superior fuel technology - not by
superior engine technology as the whack brains will always claim.  Pushrods
shoving up a DOHC pentroof style engine.  That was sweet - but the europhiles
will suck any dick to keep from admitting it.  Ford did not make public its
fuel changes till well after they had destroyed the racing class and made the
ford the dominant engine.  As much as I love pushrod V-8's and the later Indy
Class engines, in 1965, the Offey was competitive and somewhat dominating over
the fords - it just could not make methanal last as long as a methanal and
toluene hidden secret recipe.

Since before WWII, american and british fuels have used a significant amount
of benzene, toluene and xylene as a major ingredient in their fuels.  The
combination of benzene based fuel, the secret development of massive triptane
sources, and the perfection of lead based additives, scavengers and synergists
such as acetic acid gave the american and british engines significantly more
power to weight on both the engine and the quantity of fuel the planes could
carry over the BOSCH fuel injected Jew Burner engines.  

Strange isn't it.  During and following the war that the stupid german
superheroes followed their fuhrer into the grave, the rest of the world
considered the krauts as super stupid klowns and the children of the men who
pounded that regime into nothingness now consider the Jew Burners as great
heroes and super engineers - unlike the attitude of the united world against
them that considered them simply as criminal thugs that needed to be
exterminated.  But enough politics.  All the west did was bomb the german
petroleum industry out of existence and they couldn't steal gasoline fast
enough to keep their aircraft airborne.  Stupid Brits and Yanks - why could
they not fight fair with the Jew Burners.

Finally, those who read and believe urban myths such as the MSDS's should
print all of them out on paper, roll them up and shove them up their arse.
That way they would at least get anal sexual gratification out of the merde.
