Two things you should look at :
1.) The throttle return spring. Make sure it’s not too weak and replace or add an additional spring if necessary.
2.) Motor mount(s) – especially the drivers side mount. If it’s bad under hard acceleration the engine can lift enough that the throttle will hang.

If you created your account originally using the login with FB then it automatically creates the username and account info. If you first tried to create it using the regular username/password option the site security might have been triggered and prevented your account creation that way.

Flowmasters drone at certain RPMs. I had them on several of my cars but managed to tame it down by adding a layer of dampening material to the floors of the trunk which made it much more tolerable.
However, since the mufflers are so far back on a Lincoln I don’t know how much of a problem this would be.
